About Us
Blue California, founded in 1994, is a respected and well-recognized
manufacturer of botanical extracts and specialty ingredients. Our
innovative approach to product research and development has earned us
recognition within the industry for the quality and value of our
ingredients. Blue California’s new micro-encapsulation technology is
used in the development of unique ingredients that meet our industry’s
most difficult challenges and to offer solutions to R&D and
manufacturing processing challenges our customers encounter.
In April 2006, NSF awarded GMP registration to our
manufacturing facility; making Blue California only the third US
manufacturer to successfully meet NSF’s strict requirements for GMP
registration in China. Our GMP, and ISO-9000-certified, facility produces
non-irradiated ingredients using steam and ozone sterilization that meet
the strictest quality and safety requirements for the Canadian, European
and Japanese markets. In addition, we offer more than 550 Kosher-certified
ingredients.
