Embria’s parent company, Diamond V® Mills, Inc., began researching
and developing nutritional products in 1943. Established in 2005, Embria
proudly draws from Diamond V’s expertise and research by utilizing study
findings, unique manufacturing processes and industry experts in the
creation of their high-quality ingredients for the global human nutrition
market.
Proprietary Technology
Embria’s key products are manufactured using MetaGen4™, a
proprietary fermentation and drying technology. Based on a multi-stage
process used by Embria’s parent company for more than 60 years, this
process produces vital metabolites that deliver nutritional benefits and
assist with bioavailability.
Our Products
All-natural and science-based, Embria manufactures raw material
ingredients that are consistent, uniform and stable.
EpiCor® is Embria’s all-natural high-metabolite immunogen ingredient
designed to support immune health. This dried, complex fermentation
product is derived from a proprietary process consisting of Saccharomyces
cerevisiae and the medium on which it is grown.
EpiCor is unique in that it is not a single chemical as are many such
products, but a complex product containing many natural substances working
together to support immune health. Embria is not aware of another product
containing the diversity of immune-supporting compounds as found in
EpiCor. In addition, it is a powerful antioxidant that further supports
immune health by scavenging dangerous free radicals.
Laboratory work and human studies indicate that EpiCor helps support a
healthy immune system. For example, it increases salivary IgA (a first
line of defense) and increases the activity of Natural Killer cells,
making them more efficient. Clinical research on EpiCor was recently
presented at the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology
(FASEB) conference.
eXselen®, Embria’s branded ingredient that is a highly bioavailable
organic selenium yeast, is backed by 15 years of research and guarantees
consistently high levels of selenomethionine – the preferred form of
selenium known for its rapid and efficient absorption by the human body.
eXselen meets Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and has been laboratory
tested for purity, potency and consistency. Embria holds Nutrition
Business Journal’s 2005 product merit award for eXselen.
What’s New
