The E.T. Horn Company’s Nutraceuticals Group is a leading nutraceutical
ingredient supplier, marketer and manufacturer in North America. Its
ingredients are used in the nutritional supplement, medical food and
pharmaceutical markets. Experienced account specialists and warehouses
located in major metropolitan areas enable the Nutraceuticals Group to
provide its customers with the support and service they have come to
expect from E.T. Horn. In recent years, the company has become recognized
as a leader in introducing new, cutting edge, active ingredients.
About Us
Founded in the early 1960s by E.T. "Jack" Horn, the company was
originally a distributor of raw materials to the coatings industry. In
1969, the company moved to a 40,000-square-foot building in La Mirada,
Calif., which today acts as the company’s headquarters, and the hub of
its corporate campus.
During the early '70s, the philosophy and practice of partnering with
key suppliers became the cornerstone of a successful E.T. Horn
distribution strategy. This approach involves providing its supplier
partners full disclosure of the company's sales and marketing activities.
This was a radical idea decades ago, but is now considered common practice
in any successful distributor/supplier relationship. This special bond
between supplier and distributor has been one of the most critical
contributing factors to E.T. Horn establishing itself as one of the nation’s
preeminent specialty chemical distributors.
Our Services
The Nutraceuticals Group of E.T. Horn distributes, represents and
manufactures ingredients that are used throughout the nutritional
supplement, medical food and pharmaceutical markets. Nutri Granulations,
another E.T. Horn company, works with the Nutraceuticals Group to provide
engineered granulation solutions for these products. A state-of-the-art,
cGMP, drug manufacturing facility provides granular calcium carbonate,
plus a host of other tablet-ready materials.
