recently, Lonza expanded its portfolio of nutrition businesses with the
acquisition of the Larch Arabinogalactan business from Larex, Inc.
Lonza’s Arabinogalactan is a naturally occurring water soluble
polysaccharide from native Larch trees. Larch Arabinogalactan products
FiberAid® and ImmunEnhancerTM are produced exclusively by Lonza using a
patented water-based, solvent-free manufacturing process. FiberAid® is a
soluble prebiotics fiber that has a beneficial impact on the
gastrointestinal system. FiberAid®’s beneficial properties such as high
solubility, pH/temperature stability, and low sensory impact make it easy
to formulate into a wide variety of applications. ImmunEnhancerTM supports
a healthy immune system through immune cell proliferation, the cytokine
network, and the modulation of the complement immune
system. FiberAid® and ImmunEnhancerTM are certified Kosher and GRAS
affirmed for foods and dietary supplements without limitations.
